Flat Rock Cellars and Shawn & Ed Brewing Co.
At Flat Rock Cellars we aim to make great wine and have fun while doing it! We start in the vineyards with low yields and progressive viticulture practices, then continue inside the winery to our sexy gravity-flow design and the latest in winemaking equipment. When you taste our wines with us we go above and beyond to deliver a truly personal win experience- without pretension and with infectious passion.
Shawn & Ed Brewing Company’s story is forged in friendship and started more than 25 years ago at the McMaster University Campus in Hamilton. Two friends and basketball teammates, Shawn Till and Ed Madronich, shared a dream to one day open a brewery. Together they restored the old Dundas Curling and Skating Rink into a state-of-the-art brewery with one goal, to craft a classic brew that everyone can enjoy with their a friends; a beer that’s Forged in Friendship.
Shawn & Ed Brewing Co. is the sister brewery of Flat Rock Cellars, Ed Madronich is also the owner of Flat Rock Cellars, he works closely with both the winery and brewery teams to craft the best wine and beer Ontario has to offer.
